7 Sea View DriveSan Rafael, CA 94901Price: $3,750,000

Gated, reimagined and distinctly modern, with sweeping views across the Bay to the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge and Mt. Tam. Set in San Rafael's Country Club neighborhood, this residence pairs serious scale and architectural presence with interiors that have been completely reimagined. A stunning kitchen anchors the transformation, with an eat in area beside it and the family room just beyond, where the views take over. An open glass wine display gives the space a contemporary edge. The whole wing opens to a view deck wide enough to work as a second living room for sunset drinks or dinner outside, and the living room is scaled for real gathering, with walls of windows pulling the view inside. The dining room is set apart from the rest, perched above the view, which turns to twinkling lights after dark. The primary suite is a retreat of its own, with an oversized bath, a walk in closet built for two, views, and a deck off the bedroom. Off the inviting entry foyer, a guest suite with its own bath sits apart from the other bedrooms. Four bedrooms, three and a half baths, a pantry, laundry and an oversized garage on the lower level. Statement lighting and design forward finishes throughout. Behind the finishes, the work is done. Private, polished and exceptionally livable, with Peacock Gap Golf Club, China Camp and downtown San Rafael close by, and an easy route to San Francisco and the greater Bay Area.
